Why JetPak Therapy Is Different

What a JetPak Is

A JetPak is a removable seat-back module that contains a specific jet configuration. Each JetPak delivers a different style of massage, such as:

  • Deep tissue pressure
  • Neck and shoulder focus
  • Lower back relief
  • Full-back coverage
  • Gentle relaxation massage

Each one is designed to target different muscle groups or pressure preferences.

How It Works

In a Bullfrog Spa, water is delivered through a simplified plumbing system. Instead of running complex plumbing to every seat in the hot tub, water is routed directly to the JetPak when it is inserted into the seat.

When you sit down and activate the jets, water flows through the JetPak and out through its jet configuration to create the massage.

Because the jets are part of a removable module, the spa seat itself does not contain as much fixed plumbing compared to a traditional hot tub.

Common JetPaks and What They Do

While availability can vary by model, here are some of the most commonly used options and what they target:

DeepRelief

Designed for intense, targeted muscle work.
The Deep Relief uses focused, high-pressure jets to work deep into the lower and upper back muscles. It’s often preferred after physical labor or workouts.

Best for: Deep muscle tension, back pain relief, recovery

DeepRelief

Oscillator

Provides a moving, sweeping massage pattern.
Instead of a single fixed stream, the jets move in a motion that covers a wider area of the back.

Best for: Relaxation, mild to moderate tension

Spinal Health

Designed to support the entire back from the neck down to the lower spine.
The Spinal Health delivers a balanced, full-length massage that targets multiple areas of the back at the same time instead of focusing on one isolated region.

It uses strategically placed jets that follow the natural curve of the spine to help reduce tension across the upper, mid, and lower back.

Best for: General tension, overall spinal support

Key Differences From Traditional Hot Tubs

1. Customization

Traditional hot tubs have fixed jets built into each seat. The massage you get is determined at the factory and cannot be changed.

With JetPak Therapy, you can:

  • Swap JetPaks between seats
  • Choose different massage types for different users
  • Adjust your spa experience over time

2. Reduced Plumbing Complexity

Most hot tubs rely on long plumbing lines running throughout the shell to connect all jets.

JetPak Therapy uses a more direct system that reduces internal plumbing length and complexity, which can improve efficiency and simplify maintenance.

3. Replaceable and Upgradeable Components

In traditional spas, if a jet wears out or you want a different massage style, the system cannot be easily changed.

With JetPak Therapy:

  • JetPaks can be replaced individually
  • New JetPak styles can be added over time
  • The spa can be updated without replacing the entire system

Why This Matters

The main purpose of JetPak Therapy is to improve how users experience hydrotherapy. It allows each seat to deliver a specific type of massage instead of a one-size-fits-all setup.

This is especially useful for households with multiple users who prefer different pressure levels or target areas.
